Casa Ottavina
Sassetta
The smallest and most characteristic of the 3 units, in the square of the church of the Sassetta castle, a nest of tranquility and silence, lost in the boundless panorama and in the typical hiss of the swallows, the true masters of the village.
Introducing the property
In front of the church of Sant’Andrea we find Casa Ottavina… a hidden corner where you can enjoy the tranquility of the castle and get lost in the magnificent view it offers over Larderello and its smoke. Located on a privileged floor compared to other houses in the castle, it reflects all the trappings of modernity despite being in a historical context, constituting a real love nest perfect for the couple but also for 4 people using the sofa bed.
All in a fairy-tale context which hosts in its beautiful and dominant center the medieval farm, near the church square, where interesting and fun themed parties and book presentations are often organized in the summer and in the autumn months the infamous Sasseto festivals…
Framed by the Cerreta spa and the deconsecrated church of San Galgano, famous for the sword in the stone, as well as the nearby sea of Marina di Castagneto and Donoratico.
Discovering Sassetta
Sassetta is a village in the Val di Cornia; a town of perched houses on a hill in the hinterland of the Etruscan Coast, made up of narrow streets, small squares and beautiful infinities. The town is famous for its marble, unique in the world, a red marble that stonemasons and creative sculptors have always magically shaped.
Beneficial thermal waters flow from the hinterland, which emerge at almost 50° offering moments of wellness and relaxation immersed in uncontaminated nature just a few kilometers from the village.
